Cool Globes Exhibit – August 15th to October 15th
Showcasing the cool ideas for a cooler planet, this exhibit will be available daily until October 15th. It premiered in Chicago and has toured the country including Washington DC, San Diego, Houston and now Boston. The exhibit includes 49 globes, which will be displayed at many locations around Boston including the Museum of Science, Logan Airport, Copley Square, New England Aquarium and many others.
Bank of America Pavilion Concerts
Held daily until September 27th, this event provides plenty of fun for the entire family. It’s held at the Bank of America Pavilion located at 290 Northern Avenue on the waterfront. with a seating capacity of 5,000, it is one of the larger venues in the area. The high profile of the roof allows spectators to take in panoramic views of the Boston skyline and provides the height needed for sound and lighting equipment behind the stage.
Performing & Visual Arts College Fair
Perfect for college bound students looking for the right college. Those looking for a place to compare the Performing & Visual Arts programs will find the fair very helpful. It will be held at Boston University on September 24th. The college fair provides not only a great artistic date but also serves as a great choice for those in Boston on a budget.
The Greenway Carousel
Another activity perfect for the entire family is The Greenway Carousel. It will run until October 31st from 11am to 7pm. Rides are $3 each or you can get a book of ten for $25. The Carousel is also home to delicious food options. Take a look at the Mobile Eats page for details.
Boston Red Sox Games
As baseball moves into the final games of the year and the playoffs, Boston will be involved. Traveling to Boston during the fall provides the opportunity for Major League playoff games. Dates will be announced once the season is complete.
